2025 Peggy Waskom Super Bowl

What?

This is all about fun ... and some quality competition at the same time.

Owner-Manager companies can bring up to 5 bowlers per company. You will be randomly paired with event sponsor representatives to bowl. We will have prizes for the high and low male and female bowlers, and a team spirit award as well!

Lunch and drinks are on us - it's up to you to bring the energy.

Why?

This annual event is important for two major reasons: we celebrate and honor the life of Peggy Waskom, and we support and promote the work of the Georgia Apartment Association Foundation (GAAF.) Peggy was chair of AAA in 2005 and was a consistent and tireless champion for careers in the multifamily industry.

About GAAF

The Georgia Apartment Association Foundation exists to promote careers in the multifamily real estate industry. Our esteemed Board of Directors has identified three main focus areas for 2024:

1. We are launching part two of a proven successful PR campaign dedicated to promoting careers in multifamily. We created a new website and are driving targeted candidates to that site and ultimately open positions within our industry.
2. The Board has partnered with the Technical College System of Georgia to create a new Apartment Maintenance Technician certificate program to provide targeted industry-specific training to students, resulting in a much bigger talent pool for our most in-demand positions.
3. A 3rd goal this year is to start working with high school students and career academies to educate them on the value and diversity of opportunities in multifamily.

Donations

When registering, there will be two opportunities for donations. Both list suggested donations amounts that can be updated to any dollar amount. All donations go to support the work of the GAAF, listed above.

• Owner-Manager Bowler donations, for individual bowlers who would like to contribute.
• Owner-Manager companies can choose to become a Friend of the Foundation with a suggested donation of $500. (Again, feel free to edit that number to $2500 or more!)
